Author Regina Gershman

Regina Gershman is a multifaceted professional encompassing roles as an author, playwright, screenwriter, educator, family mediator, guidance counselor, and etiquette coach. With a 20-year history in teaching etiquette and manners to both adults and children, Regina brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her work. She holds a degree from the Institute of Children’s Literature, earned in 1993, where she specialized in Writing for Children and Teenagers and Writing for Adults from Barnes and Noble.

A member of esteemed organizations like the Canadian Society of Children’s Authors, Illustrators, and Performers (CANSCAIP), the Alberta Society of Artists, and the Writers Guild of Alberta, Regina has made significant contributions to literature. Her self-published children’s book, “The Power of The Magic Word,” emphasizes the importance of manners through the magic of ‘please’ and ‘thank you’.

Drawing inspiration from her childhood on a farm, where her love for animals blossomed, Regina authored “Animals on My Farm.” Her personal experiences as a young Jewish girl escaping the antisemitism of the former Soviet Union are poignantly captured in “Rebecca’s Journey.” Her literary portfolio also includes three coffee table books published in June 2023: “Unique Architecture and Landscape Designs,” “For the Flower Lovers,” and “The Red Rose Promises.”

In September 2023, Regina completed her seventh book, “Mushroom Soup Mysteries: A Recipe To Die For.” Additionally, she has recently authored four Jewish children’s books, tackling themes such as ADHD, self-esteem, resilience, the experiences of Jewish new immigrants, and the story of the Ice Maiden.
